Sustainable European Manufacturing
Every Vítkovice U-section sheet pile is manufactured at the company’s long-standing production site in Ostrava, Czech Republic, a facility known for its technical expertise and commitment to continuous improvement.
Vítkovice sources its raw materials responsibly within Europe and operates under strict EU environmental regulations, supported by a verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) within the International EPD® System. This framework ensures efficient, transparent, and environmentally responsible production, with robust management systems in place to maintain both quality and worker safety throughout operations.
All sheet piles are rolled from fully traceable steel that meets the latest European and international standards for quality and structural integrity.
Supporting Circular Construction
At Maxx Piling, we believe sustainability doesn’t begin and end at the mill, it extends through the entire life cycle of the product. We hold an extensive range of both new and used Vítkovice U-piles across our depots in the UK and Europe, ensuring that perfectly reusable steel continues to serve multiple projects throughout its life.
Our used sheet piles are carefully inspected, cleaned, and stored in excellent condition, ready for re-use without the need for re-rolling or re-manufacture. This approach significantly reduces embodied carbon, supports circular construction practices, and provides a cost-effective, sustainable alternative to new production.
