Exeter Flood Defence Scheme, River Exe

Maxx Piling supplied over 46 tonnes of Steel Sheet Piling on behalf of Kier for their temporary works cofferdam on the River Exe.
These works were required to construct a fish pass as part of the large Environmental Agency project to upgrade the Exeter Flood Defence Scheme.
Piles were sent from Maxx Piling’s depot in Dordrecht where sealant was applied prior to loading. To accommodate the specific requirements for transportation, Maxx Piling transhipped the Piles from Artic to Rigid wagons in their southern depot and all deliveries were strategically planned to meet the client’s time restrictions (10am-3pm).
