Hollow Threaded Anchor Bar
Versatile, self-drilling anchoring system for all ground conditions.
The Hollow Threaded Anchor Bar (HTAB) is a fully threaded, seamless steel tube with a continuous cold-rolled thread along its entire length. This design allows the bar to act as a drill rod, grout conduit, and structural anchor all in one, making it ideal for challenging or unstable ground conditions where conventional drilling and casing are impractical.
Using a suitable drill bit, the hollow bar can be installed directly into almost any soil or rock type. The continuous thread enables the use of coupling sleeves, allowing bar segments to be securely joined until the required depth is reached.
During installation, grout is injected through the hollow core, ensuring complete encapsulation and a strong bond between the grout body, the surrounding soil, and the steel bar. Once cured, the system acts as a tensile, compressive, and reinforcement element, providing durable, reliable performance even under cyclic loading.
A wide range of connection components, including nuts, plates, and anchor heads, are available to suit any structural interface.
Our Hollow Threaded Anchor Bars are manufactured from E500/700-grade seamless steel, with a minimum impact value of 27 J at –20 °C for guaranteed strength and toughness. Bars are available in a variety of diameters and wall thicknesses, with segment lengths tailored to specific project requirements. Each system is supplied complete with matching couplers and nuts, ensuring full compatibility and ease of installation
