Maxx Piling began as a family-run business built on hard work, industry knowledge and a commitment to fair, reliable service. Founded by Paul Lomax, whose experience in piling and steel supply established the company’s foundations, Maxx Piling has grown from a small, family-led operation into one of the leading steel piling suppliers to the UK and Irish foundation and marine sectors.

Tom Lomax joined the business in January 2009 and has been instrumental in driving its growth through determination, adaptability and a can-do attitude. By building a strong, capable team, Maxx Piling has continued to expand its reach, refine its service and strengthen its position in the market. In June 2023, Tom became Managing Director, continuing the family tradition while guiding the company into a new era of growth and modernisation.
