Botley Landslip Repair Scheme
DATE: February, 2014Maxx Piling supplied over 500 tonnes of Steel Sheet Piles to Geoffrey Osborne for the repair scheme at Botley landslip.
After torrential rainfall, an embankment gave way between Eastleigh and Fareham, making it impassable for trains. Due to these circumstances, a prompt response was required from everyone involved to ensure the train lines were back up and running as quickly as possible.
Maxx Piling supplied a mixture of L720, L606A and L605 Steel Sheet Piles in lengths ranging from 8.00m-14.00m from their extensive stock to ensure a rapid turnaround was met. In total over 600 Sheet Piles were installed to prevent any further movement of the earth.
